Alan Ryan Saddle Appeal

Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre has joined with Mill Road Riding Club and Tipperary Equestrian Centre to raise funds for a specially adapted saddle for Alan Ryan, a child with cerebral palsy who loves horses.

We are holding a sponsored ‘Ride or Walk or Dine with Me’ on Saturday 26th May 2018  to try to reach the target of €4,750 that an adapted saddle will cost.

The event will start at 4.00 p.m in Upperchurch Village.

There will be a two hour walk, open to all family, friends and supporters who are not riding .

At the same time there will be a three hour horse-ride. This is only open to members of AIRC or by invitation of Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre.  You can bring your own horse, or hire one.

Route 1 will involve a leisurely trek around the beautiful Uplands, stopping off at some of the historic sites in the area. Route 2 will involve cantering, galloping and jumping.

The walk and ride will be followed by a two-course dinner at Kinnane’s Bar, Upperchurch.

Children are welcome to participate in the walk + dine for a special rate of €10.

If you would like to participate in any of these activities, simply click the donate button to pay for your entry on or before 19th May. Advance entries are really important to us so that we can arrange support personnel and catering on the day!
