Their care and attention to each and every horse is just brilliant. Terry has been there on livery and I knew coming home the first day he’d be well taken care of . He’s absolutely spoilt by both Lily and Claire and I don’t think he’ll want to come home ! Over the course of the last few months I’ve been on many treks and the knowledge that the instructors have of the geography and local history adds so much to the whole experience. Terry has excelled in the short amount of time he has lived in Rusheen and has benefitted soo much from the top class physios, dentists and farriers all organised by Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre. Terry has been treated so well, like one of their own and I really can’t thank the girls enough for the help and support and guidance I’ve received!

Scenery was fantastic and Claire so informative. Was very reluctant about getting on a horse but so glad I did. Wonderful fun experience for all ages. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Would love to return again.

I learnt so much about horse when I was there and made great connections with the horses and got to know each horses individual character, they were amazing!
When I was there I helped with brushing tacking up the horses, making sure they all had water, food and a nice fresh clean stable to relax in, I also led the more inexperienced riders, I really enjoyed this part as it enabled the rider to be more confident as they learnt to ride. I found that Clare and Lily were great teachers, they were patient and clear with their instructions, they understood each persons individual needs and adjusted there lesson accordingly.

We took an over two-hour trip to the mountains, where we could admire stunning views of Tipperary surroundings while riding. Clare made it even more enjoyable and valuable by telling us all about the local history, archaeology and old legends on the way! All the fascinating information and a friendly chat made this whole experience very personal, unlike most other activities out there where you are just a customer. We really loved it! The horses and the trail were perfectly adjusted to our riding level. The price is very fair considering all the extras and effort the company makes to makes to keep their riders happy. We really do recommend trying it out, and we will definitely be back for more!

However, we're all beginners so there were quite a few nerves, but we were in such good hands with Claire, Lily & Emer. They immediately put us at ease and allowed us to get used to our horses in the sand arena before bringing us on a great trek through the wonderfully scenic and historic land around the centre. Claire was extremely informative and both Lily and Emer were so attentive and interested in the children. We thoroughly enjoyed the trek, and the chat, and when next in Tipperary would love to come back.
