Our central location means that we are a great stopping off point for a trek or an overnight stay if you are travelling from coast to coast.

GETTING TO US BY CAR:

From DUBLIN – N7/M7 (Limerick bound) to Junction 22 (Roscrea). N62 to Templemore. R 501 to Borrisoleigh.

From CORK – M8 (Dublin bound) to Junction 6 (Thurles). R660 to Thurles. R498 to Borrisoleigh.

From SHANNON/LIMERICK – M7 (Dublin bound) to Junction 25 (Nenagh and Thurles). R498 to Borrisoleigh.

In Borrisoleigh, turn up between the church and the Clodagh Bar (L3602). We are the third turning on the left outside Borrisoleigh, approx 3 miles/5 kms from the village, GPS and Google Maps will accurately direct you to ‘Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre’.Map

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Buses go from Dublin and Shannon Airports direct to Nenagh. Trains go from Limerick, Cork and Dublin to Thurles.

We can arrange pick-ups from Nenagh and Thurles. We can also help you with airport transfers and local car hire.
